About Me
My name is Priscilla Ntiamoah, and I am a self-taught oil painter whose work explores the joy of being at peace.
I was born and raised in Staten Island, New York, and spent much of my life moving from place to place — never quite finding a home
or a sense of belonging. Although I am a quiet person, my mind has always been loud and also in motion — racing with a
million thoughts, restless with no destination.
It wasn’t until I picked up a paintbrush that the noise began to fade. Painting became a refuge — the only time my mind ever feels still. Through this practice, I learned that peace must be created from within, that joy can be chosen, and that no matter where life leads, I am responsible for how I feel. Each brushstroke reminds me that stillness is not found in a place, but cultivated in the heart. I paint subjects in moments of stillness — smiling softly, resting deeply, and existing freely in their own company.
My middle name, Brown, is both a personal tribute and an artistic symbol — honoring the beauty and elegance of rich skin tones that glow with warmth and grace. Each figure I paint embodies femininity, quiet confidence, and the gentle power of presence.
Every positive expression I create is intentional, offering glimpses of light that remind us solitude can be a haven, not a void. My paintings are odes to inner tranquility — visual sanctuaries where strength can be found in softness and where happiness blooms from within. Each piece offers a moment of recognition: a soft place to land, a mirror, or a dream.
